On the afternoon of November 3, 2021, the fifth lecture series on International Organizations and Global Economic Governance of the School of Economics at Peking University was held online. Randall Riopelle, Chief Representative of the World Bank Group International Finance Corporation in China, South Korea and Mongolia, and his colleagues gave a lecture entitled "IFC's Operations and Cases in China". This event was jointly organized by the School of Economics at Peking University and the Talents Office of the International Organization of the Peking University Student Employment Guidance Service Center.

　　Before the lecture, Professor Dong Zhiyong, Assistant to President of Peking University and Dean of the School of Economics, Professor Qin Xuezheng,Vice Dean, and Associate Professor Wu Zenan, Assistant to Dean, had an online meeting with Randall Riopelle and others. Zhu Wenqin, Chief Country Officer of the International Finance Corporation Representative Office in China, Xu Weichuan, Senior Investment Officer of the Department of Financial Institutions, Sun Hao, Senior Investment Officer of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Natural Resources Industry, and Xie Zhiyu, Secretary General of the International Organization Talent Development Office of the Employment Guidance and Service Center of Peking University attended the meeting.

　　Subsequently, experts from the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group gave a lecture entitled "IFC's Operations and Cases in China", hosted by Wu Zenan.

　　Then, Zhu Wenqin reviewed the three stages in the course of cooperation between the International Finance Corporation and China. She pointed that the cooperation between IFC and China is constantly changing.

　　Next, Xu Weichuan, a senior investment officer of the Financial Institutions Department of IFC, introduced IFC's investment in Chinese financial institutions.

　　In the end, Mr. Sun Hao, a senior investment officer of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Natural Resources Industry of the International Finance Corporation introduced in detail the cooperation between IFC and China in the field of green environmental protection.

　　After the lecture, the four guests exchanged views with online audiences on the job opportunities of the International Finance Corporation, career planning of international organizations, and ESG investment.
